Provides food distributions to community members. Distributions are held on the first Thursday of each month. Pre-registration is held at the Lucerne Christian Church Annex and the distribution takes place at the Lucerne Road Department building.

The Center serves as a transportation contact for OATS, a telephone reassurance center, assists with health screenings and schedules lessons on health management. Assistance in contacting other resources is provided if needed. Residents of the community are encouraged to come to the Center to enjoy the company of friends and neighbors.

Services
Senior Nutrition Site, Congregate Meals, Home Delivered Meals, Weekly Exercise classes, Free Blood Pressure & Pulse checks, Monday through Friday. Frozen meals are also available for evenings and weekends. Contact for the Senior Service Fund which is funded by a tax and provides financial assistance to recognized organizations to provide services to individuals or groups age 60 and over.

The food pantry is operated by the Ministerial Allaince and is open each week on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm to provide food supplies for those in need.

The library is located on the east side of the Unionville square. In addition to over 27,000 books, the library collection includes audiobooks, videos for all ages, juvenile books and large print books. Also the library has 60 subscriptions that are available to the public and an outstanding collection of genealogy information.

Computer lab with laser jet printer, Internet and resume services, Monthly educational programs, Breastfeeding Center, Story Hour for Children, Summer Reading Program.

The Extension Office provides a link to resources around the state to help improve the quality of life for the people in Putnam County Specialists are available in our region to cover nutrtion, Agronomy, Entromology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Livestock and Youth through the 4-H Programs.
