The Putnam County R-1 Schools campus includes four buildings:
Elementary, Middle School, High School & Education Building.
The main facilities include a 300-seat auditorium, Industrial Technology Lab, 21st Century Business Classroom, Education Plus Network (Interactive Learning) and career writing and video production labs.
The new Education Building (built in 2007) houses the Building Trades class and equipment, SOAR (the after school program), Head Start and Parents as Teachers.

S.O.A.R. - SEIZING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH ACADEMIC READINESS
Putnam County R-1 School District's Before and Afterschool Program runs from 6:00-8:00 a.m. and 3:15-6:00 p.m. , Monday through Friday throughout the regular school year and summer school, and from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the weeks just after summer school until the regular school year begins. In addition, the program runs from 12:45-6:00 p.m. on Early Out Wednesdays, and early dismissals for holidays and school closings. This program provides time for tutoring, field trips, homework assistance, and academic learning and enrichment experiences that are not available to students during the regular school day.
